We came into being in January 2015 and are developing organically according to the interests and experiences of the founders and the needs of those who contact us.​

 

Cariño Counselling was founded by Lorraine Hossack and Peter Watson in 2015.

They brought with them knowledge, experience and a vision to create a shared experience in which human relating and development are key.​

Lorraine’s slogan ‘Cariño cares’ epitomises the ethos that we carry forward.  We work to live this in all we do.

 

​We seek to offer person-centred training to be a therapist/counsellor.

The person the Client meets is the person we meet. ​The CPCAB curriculum offered by Cariño Counselling is underpinned and cushioned by the ethos of its founders, to be a place of learning that is kind, compassionate and inclusive of diversity and individualism.
